I'm not sure we really need to implement this. For me '#' column is kind of default and so when there's no indicator, it's understood that this is the column tracks are sorted by. This way, there's no problem when the column is too narrow, etc. |

I tend to agree which chris and lowlander. On several occasions I've been confused by the lack of a sort indicator myself. |

Another problem is that the indicator should be shown in the other Now Playing too. So if you sort in Now Playing window it should also show in the Now Playing node. |

Verified in 1348. Does there need to be this much space between arrow and text? If this space is reduced it's more likely to fit for more users. Now Playing Window and Node sort arrow discrepancy remains and can show different sort column at the same time. |
