In testing 0022369 it seems that when casting via UPnP, most tracks are skipped.
Ma Baker (m4a) - skipped
Kinda Complicated (m4a) - skipped
Papa don't preach (mp3) - plays
Your love keeps lifting me higher (mp3) - skipped
Little Bribes (m4a) - skipped
Saturday Sun (mp3) - plays
Storms in Africa (mp3) - skipped after Saturday Sun, but then plays when initiated

Basically, playback is completely unreliable when casting from MMA via UPnP.

Note:
- casting to Google Cast devices for the same tracks works fine
- casting from the same device using other apps to MMW works fine

0022395: Crash on Auto Organize large number of files

MM often crashes on Auto Organize of large number of files (around 19k in this test).

0021530: Ability to export auto-playlist criteria

Currently user can export all playlists like M3U format which is still just list of tracks..
i.e. importing such a playlist(s) looses original auto-playlist criteria

Exporting auto-playlists with its set of criteria would be beneficial..

EDIT: When user uses Right click -> Send to -> M3U/XSPF on Auto-Playlist in tree then *.mmap would be also Auto Created alongside selected playlist format, so that MM can import it as Auto Playlist

1) When I attempt to Paste --> the following error:
"Problem with copying file D:\Downloads\Disney's Greatest, Vol. 2\Folder.jpg to D:\Temp\dl\Billboard 2000-2010 Top 100\
[Cancel] [Retry] [Ignore]"

The error seems to occur when the source track has artwork saved as a file (note: I pasted to a track that was part of a compilation album (without the compilation checkbox) that had artwork saved to the tag, plus a single cover.jpg in the folder containing all the tracks.

2) Text should be changed:
- no '...' -- otherwise users wait for a dialog to appear
- Artwork shouldn't be capitalized)

b)
Paste tags / Artwork...
Paste tags / artwork

3) 'Copy tags / artwork' has a shortcut CTRL-ALT-C. Shouldn't there be a matching shortcut for 'Past tags / artwork' CTRL-ALT-V ?

4) Tooltips are needed:
copy: Copies metadata / artwork of a track so that it can be pasted into other tracks.
paste: Pastes copied metadata / artwork into selected track(s), exactly as it was in the source track.

5) Questions:
a) Does this overwrite all existing metadata?
b) Wouldn't it be preferable if artwork were saved in the default format instead?

One of the most common request is ability to copy tags and metadata from e.g. low quality to high quality files..

Could be implemented as another item in right-click context menu
Edit tags / Artwork > Copy tags (Ctrl+Alt+C)
Edit tags / Artwork > Paste tags (Ctrl+Alt+P)

whenever a single file is selected

0022371: Filter usability: too many steps to activate/switch between filters

If I've previously created a filter (e.g. 4 star tracks) it should be a 2-step operation to activate the filter (e.g. click the button and choose the filter). However, currently, it takes many more steps and users may not even be aware that they can choose existing filters:

1 click 'View filter' "funnel" icon on toolbar
2 click overflow
3 click Recently Used
4 click filter name

Would it be feasible that when the user clicks the filter button, instead of initiating creation of a new filter, it would display:
New filter
----------------
Recent filter1
Recent filter2
Recent filter3
...

That way the user could quickly activate existing filters (which is probably a more common action than creating a new one).

Although MediaMonkey has the option to add Directory to Mask for Artwork under Tools > Options > Tags & Playlists it doesn't actually create the folder, instead escaping \ as - in the filename

0020273: Context Menu on multi-folder select in List/Grid (Folders) panel uses inconsistent selection

When using items in the Context Menu of multiple folders selected in the List (folders) or Grid (folders) view some actions will be on files in all selected folders, whereas others are on 1 of the folders in the selection,

For example Send to > Playlist will send all files from all selected folders to the Playlist. Auto-Tag also operates on all files.

1) However Cut and subsequent Paste elsewhere only moves the folder the right click was executed on (Add/Rescan Files as well).

2) Rename shouldn't be available in the Context Menu when multiple folders are selected as it always operates on a single item.

When MediaMonkey is minimized right click on the MediaMonkey Tray Icon won't show the Context Menu. The Context Menu does appear on restoring MediaMonkey though.

If the user previously typed 'Closer to fine' in the search bar and then later types 'Closer'
--> 'Closer to fine' is auto-suggested
If the user then presses the down arrow to highlight 'Closer to fine' and presses ENTER
--> MM searches for 'Closer' instead of 'Closer to fine'! i.e. the auto-suggested item isn't applied

I suspect that this may be related to the auto-complete functionality changes being made in other parts of MM.

Undock opens a second window: the Playing list stays visible in the main window while it is undocked, and its menu still offers "Undock". Pressing it again does nothing; pressing it a third time opens a second undocked Playing window. I confirmed this through the real menu, at every gap from 80 ms to 1 s.

When performing a mass-edits and each track has different values for a given field, it would be better if:
1) The user was notified that attributes don't match by highlighting the fields in some manner. This could be achieved in the same manner as in the auto-tag dialog. There are 3 cases that would need to be handled:
a) the field is empty for some of the tracks
b) the attributes are identical except for case
c) there are conflicting attributes (Currently there's an implicit notification by virtue of an empty field)

The solution in all 3 cases, would be to Display the most common attribute for the field other than "" (in Orange to signify that a change will result) followed by an orange exclamation point (signifying the conflict).

2) The user was able to preferentially choose from among the values that have been entered. So when clicking a combio-box, rather than displaying the full alphabetic list, MM should display the attributes associated with the field (from most to least common), followed by a separator, and then the rest of the list.

If the user selects multiple tracks and then navigates to the Properties > Lyrics tab, it appears with various blank elements (see attached images).

Note: for lyrics we may want to add '[ ] Apply to all selected' as in the Artwork tab, so that users don't accidentally apply a single set of lyrics to all tracks.

1) When minimizing to the MiniPlayer, then restoring a few times, the MiniPlayer is rendered incorrectly.

The initial rendering is a taller window, then when it breaks, every time after it breaks it's rendered incorrectly. The initial rendering seems to have poor use of vertical space within the window.

2) Once in this state, the MiniPlayer will render in the top left corner on the screen the main window is running if it's used on another monitor. 0022387: Context menu obscures items at the bottom of a list

If the user selects the last Track/Artist/Album in a list
--> The bottom context menu appears and obscures the last few tracks, as expected

If the user then tries to scroll and view the Tracks/Artists/Albums that are obscured by the list
--> list cannot be scrolled and the items cannot be seen
--> user cannot individually deselect the track

Note: the bug also occurs when the user selects an item in the middle of the list, but the issue is more severe when selecting the last item because in that case, the bug also prevents individual de-selection of the item.
