Summary0003325: Handling Custom/Advanced Messages and setups Introduced in Winamp 2.72+
DescriptionSeveral Winamp General/DSP Plugins uses post message 65536 to register Custom Menu items, Winamp Call Messages, Setup Dialogs, Short Cuts to Implement itself in Winamp Handle to collect Info from Winamp and/or Winamp ML_* (Media Library plugins) which Currently MM do not Support.
Additional InformationEach Plugin that I have tested and use that advanced way to work with winamp work partially or have problems on MM close, do not have Setup Dialogs.

Main reason for that is that most plugins Check for Winamp version 2.91+ ($2901) and MM return 9.99b ($999b) which result that plugins send Custom/Advanced messages to MM that MM ignores and if plugin work on Default settings then in most cases plugin will work or work partially like in some examples of general plugins reported in 0001441 example plugin could be found on FTP

Assignign to Peke to review options of handling this, in case it isn't overly complex, we could try to implement it, but otherwise, I don't think it's really important.
