Summary0020487: When MMA device profile is re-created in MMW, Playlist tracks fail to download
DescriptionEDIT (by Ludek): The easier steps are described by Martin in 0020487:0073914
The key is to perform WiFi sync, delete profile in MM5 and re-create profile in MM5 (for the same device) and perform another sync.
Workaround is to restart MM5 after the profile removal.

--------------------------
In the course of testing 0020070 I tried the following (on Galaxy S10/Android 13) with MMA 2.0.0.1158 against MMW 5.1.2828:

1 WiFi Sync tracks and Playlists to MMA (using an earlier version of MMA)
2 Install MMA 1158
3 Delete all tracks from MMA except those by ArtistX
4 Delete tracks by ArtistX from MMW
5 Delete the MMA sync profile from MMW (in order to test 0020070)
6 Initiate WiFi Sync of MMA / MMW using the WiFi Sync Wizard to
- enable bidi sync for the SD Card sync profile (so that ArtistX gets synced to MMW)
- add PlaylistX to the sync profile
--> BiDi sync works as expected, PlaylistX is created in MMA, but PlaylistX is empty in MMA!!

Note: if at step 1, I instead delete MMA and associated data (i.e. proceed with a completely clean install), then the issue doesn't occur.

So this means that the fix for 0020070 is incomplete since in order to recover phone data/playlists and use the phone with MMA:
The user can use the new functionality from 0020070 to initiate a bidi sync, and then must delete MMA and re-install it and only then will synchronization work correctly--however, some metadata from tracks on the device will be missing from the device as it was lost during the uninstallation.

I had an issue with uploading playlist items. Issue described at 0020497.

The issue of downloading empty PlaylistX can be reproduced more easily:
1) Delete the existing sync profile on the MMW side (if not exist yet do one sync and then delete sync profile)
2) Go Sync settings/storage or use sync wizard -> confirm on MMW side to create new sync profile
3) Choose one playlist from the server to sync(which does not exist in MMA)
4) run sync (bi-di sync is not needed and can be disabled)
5) An empty playlist will be downloaded.

Playlist items are not downloaded because the MMW server incorrectly returns that the playlist is empty.
Just restart MMW to solve the problem (and delete empty playlist on MMA side).
After the restart, MMW already returns the playlist with all the items.

So the issue seems to be on MMW side. Assigning to Ludek

The issue really was that some values remained incorrectly "cached" after the profile re-creation

Verified 2829 and 1159

I am unable to replicate this described behavior, so it can be considered as Verified.
