Peke, I don't know which DB from FTP do you mean, there isn't any in /MMA/bugs/bug16584

But it seems that all that you need to do is to change the tab from [Artists] to [Tracks] on your MMA screenshot above to show all the tracks ?

My library is always at /staff_libraries/Peke/

No it shows only one track.

What's bad with the Artists page?
It includes 4 artists with "bon jovi" in name (as expected).

Artist "BON JOVI say it isn t" do not exist in MMW/MM5 and SUM of all Artist tracks is not 512+ tracks like in Albums or tracks. Where itt can be checked that "BON JOVI say it isn t" do not exist.

"BON JOVI say it isn t" is album artist of one track:

Re the counts: I see, MMA shows "31 tracks" for "BON JOVI" in the Artists tab, but it should show "31 albums" (or "31 items") as it you click the artist then it is showing the 31 albums (as sub-containers).
Assigned to Martin.

I would rather show (xxx tracks, xx Albums) as on tap it will go to Artist?

Track had same Title and Album Artist :( that confused me. Corrected it in My DB now :(

In build I updated it to "x albums" only because I have only info about the count of child items.

During my testing I found this inconsistent:
Tab artists (upnp query: "/search/artists") -> Shows Album artists only, but "x albums"(container.getChildCount()) shows a count of albums where an artist is an album artist plus albums where artist is as media artist.
When I click on an artist then only albums with the artist as album artist show up.

It should be unified.

Unified in /

Both MM4/MM5 servers shows both artists & albums artists.

Just the "x Albums" needs to be changed to "x items" in MMA -- as for album artist it shows all albums + the '[All]' container for tracks while for artists it shows tracks directly (like when browsing the artists).

Also note that "items" is generally correct from the UPnP/DLNA perspective as it can include mix of various items -- be it container (album, artist, playlist) or track (mixed together)

FYI: DUnit tests discovered a small regression introduced while fixing this issue in MM4, the test shown that "Roku Sound Bridge" fails to search for composer via UPnP/DLNA.
I fixed it in both MM4/MM5 branches (builds 1911/2260). But as this is relatively small regression then I don't think that this needs to be included in 4.1.29
