|Summary||0014684: Remember Playback and Focused screen state|
|Description||As explained in ~49464 under missing options a) MMA do not remember current player state on restart.|
This makes user experience bit confusing as introduces number of additional steps in order to continue playback.
|Steps To Reproduce||Steps to reproduce for most obvious usage):|
1. Start MMA
2. Start Playback
3. OPTIONAL: swipe to Show Lyrics (it doesn't matter if track have lyrics or not)
4. Press HOME
5. Open Notification and tap on STOP and close MMA
6. Open MMA -> It goes to Main screen instead of Player

Is possible to create playlist shortcuts on Car Head Unit?
Maybe this option can be the quick solution because playlist shortcut launches "Now playing" directly and hit "play" action.
Maybe we can add a new shortcut to current "Now playing" (and keep current Now playing list)
All that stands and is possible I have both Sync and Playlist shortcut. Problem is that when you listen music and Simply Turn the Car off which puts HeadUnit into Hibernate Mode (on XDA they call it deep freeze mode) and after an hour whole Head unit powers down but remember and start any app that was in Focus at the moment of turning the car key off (Navigation/Media App)
Your are right now playing shortcut would be the quickest workaround ATM.
What do you think that tap on MMA Shortcut(Playlists included)/Widget/Notification if player is playing directly open in Player mode?
Also Auto start playback on startup would be benefit (Add "Force Playback Start" as additional Option to existing) eg. Get in Car -> Turn the Key -> Start Driving -> Tap MMA Widget and if Now playing is preserved Playing starts immediately.
