| Description | There is various Android head unit on market and we should optimize it for Car Head Unit usage. I bought one Android Head unit from one of the Chinese Brands MTCE Dasaita (HotAudio [HA]) HA2153-V640 with 32GB Rom and 4GB RAM currently on Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 and Available Oreo 8.0 Update. Initial MMA Tests showed: - Installs correctly - Found all 4 Storage (1 Internal [GPS SDcard] + 3 USB Drives [USB1-USB3]) - MMA can sync on all 4 devices and created 4 MMW profiles - Playback of Video and Audio works - EQ Works correctly unless VIPER4Android is installed when it needs to be disabled due the conflict - Casting Works. Tested with Nexus Player (Android TV 8.0 Oreo) - MMA reacts on Steering wheel controls - MMA correctly pause when switching Head Unit to other Modes (Radio, BT Audio, Video, Music, AV IN) - Current UI Controls are bit small for Head Unit Usage - Playback works in background of Navigation Settings that I have found that these enabled work best is: - Show Notification -> Never - Playback -> Always react to remote controls (Steering wheel sends Media Commands) - Playback -> Disable touch sounds - Playback -> Use to play video By default - Playback -> 'Play Now' preserves list - Playback -> Bigger 'Now Playing' seekbar And these options should be disabled: - Suppress notification sound (This is handled by system) - Show large notification (Too large and blocks system Notifications) - Show seek bar in notification (Same as above) - Show in Notification Bar = Never (System controlled app timeout as device do not have battery power) | ||||
