I cannot reproduce it at all (Win7 64b, tried MM3, MM4.0.7, MM4.1).

It fails with the waveOut output Plugin which throws an AV after the interface has been frozen for a while. MediaMonkey DirectSound plays the file fine. (Portable Install, 4.0.7.1507, Windows Server 2003). [debug2.zip captures first successful MediaMonkey DirectSound, stop playback, switch to waveOut and failed play on waveOut]

I cannot reproduce it, even with waveOut output plugin.
Any more findings?

I have 8GB system memory and system drive has 5.4GB free (temp folder drive has 21.1GB free). I don't know what other tests I can run to help.

I tried it on another system (Windows XP) and it also crashed with waveOut.

Thanks, reproduced with waveOut, in Windows XP, crashes in LameACM.acm. After uninstalling LameACM, it simply crashes without creating Eureka log.

Freezing fixed in build 1509. It was caused by hidden messagebox (called from waveOut plugin).

The problem is, that this FLAC contains 24bit audio a it is not supported by waveOut plugin in Windows XP (at least on some systems). I would recommend to use another output plugin, waveOut is quite obsolete.
I already cannot reproduce the crash in LameACM.acm, it seems, reinstall of LameACM fixed this issue.
Rusty, please write some note about this to KB, thanks.

On 1510 the warning that waveOut can't play the file is shown, but I can't OK/close this message and have to close MM through the Task Manager. [debug3.zip]

What message? The old one was commented in build 1509 (because of the closing problem you described) and there should be no message box now. Are you sure, you test the last build?

Oh I already see, the problem is, that this plugin is not compiled by the build batch, will be fixed in the next build.
