| Summary | 0009880: Different device instances created for USB and Wifi sync | ||||
| Description | When I have Galaxy S3 connected over USB and try to configure Wifi sync from S3, there's a new device instance created just for the Wifi sync - i.e. there are 2 difference device profiles created in the end. The same for S2. | ||||

Resolving, since I'm no longer able to reproduce on a clean DB. Will keep testing, but so far it looks like it could have been caused by some incorrect data in my testing/development DB. |

Re-opened, there is really a bug in the process of pairing based on Serial Number (in case the USB device profile was created by a pre 4.1 version) - My Galaxy Nexus has SN within device id (works) - Jiri's S2 and S3 has the SN just in registry (needs to be fixed) - Marek's S2 cannot get SN from Android OS, because he has a special custom version of Android OS (we cannot do anything about it) |
