| Description | There is ongoing talk regarding adding support to include subtitles within DLNA Stream. Most widely supported DLNA Stream Format is M2TS which support Subtitles As we already plan to make our own Subtitle renderer it could be nice that we can also add muxer so that subtotles can be muxed on fly with M2TS stream or Embed it in MKV stream NOTE: Most DLNA clients support M2TS streams. | ||||

It seems that e.g. Mezzmo or Serviio servers are able to deliver external SRT subtitles to clients that supports it (including Samsung TVs, Panasonic Viera TVs, LG Blu-ray players, D-Link DSM-320 media player, D-Link DSM-750 media player, Brite-View media players and Zinwell media players) So it seems that although subtitle serving is not part of DLNA/UPnP standard there is a sub-standard to serve SRT.
