| Description | 1. Find a track on the device that is tagged wrong. 2. Update the tags via MM (user modified Genre, I modified title) 3. Sync the device. 4. The file doesn't change on the device (as verified on the device) Note: - the bug was observed on an iOS5 device, but doesn't occur on an iPod - tracks that have been modified _do_ appear to sync to the device (in the status bar) however they fail to update correctly | ||||

Fixed in build 1493. Despite the fact I haven't been able to replicate this, I have made some steps that prevents from happening this (by deleting the old file once the new file is copied to the device) |

User added some repro steps here: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=66114&p=339763#p339745 I can repro when doing the auto-sync, but looking the code it seems that it has never worked for devices without known drive letter (that aren't part of file system). i.e. file tag on the device is changed only for devices accessible via drive letter. |

Re-opened because of some problems: 1. Metadata update doesn't work in non-default config when in Tools->Options->Library->Tags & Playlists->Tags [ ] Update tags when editing properties [ ] Modify timestamp when updating tags are unchecked. 2. It doesn't work for some users: ZOD-962345 |
