Summary0008464: Dialogs appear behind main window if MM is minimized, and break 'Minimize' button
DescriptionIf the user performs an activity that results in the presentation of a modal MM dialog while MM is minimized to the taskbar, then upon maximizing MM, the modal dialog appears in back of the main MM window, and the user:
a) is unaware of why the process appears to have stalled
b) can't use the 'minimize' button (it stops working)
c) can't close the dialog without resizing the MM window

Examples of actions that trigger this behavior:
-Scanning a directory
-Syncing too many files to a device
etc...

Steps To Reproduce1 Run MM
2 Perform a task that takes awhile and results in the presentation of a dialog upon completion or partial completion
3 Minimize MM while the task is in progress
4 Bring another app into focus
5 Once the task from 2 is completed, click MM in the taskbar
--> Main panel appears but modal dialog is hidden (though it sometimes appears for a fraction of a second)!
6 Click 'Minimize' to try to access any modal dialogs
--> Minimize button stops working!
7 Resize the main panel so as to click 'OK' on the modal dialog
--> MM works, but the minimize button no longer does until MM is restarted!

Note: Tested on Win7 x64

As discussed with Petr, this isn't a regression, it works the same way in MM3. Since a possible fix would create a high risk of a regression, deferring after MM 4.0 release.

I tested MM3 and this _is_ a regression! Can you reverify?

Petr confirmed that the problem occurs in MM3 in _skinless_ mode only, but that in MM4, it occurs it skinned/skinless mode. The problem is that for MM3 few users saw the bug because skinned mode is the default. In MM4, this is going to crop up much more often because it now occurs in the default configuration.

Test note: the fix causes MM to pop to the foreground at the conclusion of any process that triggers a modal dialog. This isn't great, but is preferable to the alternative.
