Newest Change in 0008071 worked if you have time I'm guessing that this is also worth to look at. It can vastly improve Crossfading speed when doing crossfade from two Audio CD tracks.

Set to 4.1 if it is not trivial to add.

Fixed in build 1415.

No regressions so far, but also haven't noticed any significant speed improvement, but on the drives like the Peke's TEAC CD-W540E it could improve things (like in 0008071)

We will see, I also wondered if exclusive mode will possibly fix issue user Ed have when try to RIP CDs using his Plextor BD burner we are trying to fix over mail conversation.

The fix was reverted in build 1417 as it causes regressions on some drives, see 0008221

Closing, this issue is causing regressions like 0008221 and doesn't seem to improve anything. It could be rather contraproductive in relation with 0006417.
