Summary0008048: AV on attempt to browse iPod Touch (regression)
DescriptionAttempts to browse an iPod Touch result in an AV: Cannot create file "I:\3013.m3u". The system cannot find the path specified.

The attached log shows starting MM, connecting iPod Touch, clicking a device node to browse the device --> AV

Note: Device I mentioned in the error was a device that had been previously connected, but was removed hours ago (or perhaps the iPhone plugin considers the device to be a device I).

Possibly relevant factor:
Prior to experiencing this bug I had synced various playlists (autosync) to the device (with a previous build), and had then (with this build) manually deleted all tracks from the device.

Playlists are no longer syncing to the iPod Touch (tracks contained within a playlist are syncing, but not the playlists themselves).

It seems that a related problem occurs when synching using the USB MS plugin. Somehow, it copies a "New Device (I-).m3u" file to the device even before the auto-sync button is pressed! That's probably the root cause of this issue.

Rusty, it seems that your temp path is set to I:\, can you confirm in MM Options? This results in all kind of problems. In order to simplify resolution of such problems, I've created 0008058.
