As noted in 0007930, the 'Parental Rating' is quite specific field, because it is not a numeric field, but also cannot be considered as a regular text field to be added to Options > Search panel.

Standard Parental Rating would be like R, PG-13, but on the other hand the field allows any value which makes it similar to a Custom field. Searching for PG-13 would pose no issue as its unique, but search for R would pose problems as it's a single letter.
It definitely would be useful for the search box as you can search Parental Rating: R or Genre: Comedy AND Parental Rating: R and thus obtain specific results.
As a searchable field it still would provide function as PG-13 would provide correct results and user might use custom Parental Rating (not everyone would use American Parental Rating system) which might not cause any issues.
As there is some usability I think it should be added and a user can always disable the field if it doesn't work in the users situation.
