| Description | 1. Unsubscribing from a Podcast subscription doesn't delete the episodes queued for Download - they are going to be downloaded anyway (even if Delete Episodes is selected). 2a. Download pop-up menu command is among Copy/Paste group. I'd rather expect it to be the very first command (i.e. before Play Now). 2b. Download command is disabled for already downloaded Episodes. Given the suggestion in 2a., I'd rather hide it in this case. 2c. I wonder whether Download command would even be useful in the Context Toolbar? 3. In Download node, there could be Cancel (if anything is selected) and Pause/Resume commands shown in the Context Toolbar, since they are otherwise available in the pop-up menu only. Note that rather than Pause and Resume, there would probably be more usable 'Pause all' and 'Resume all' commands in the Context toolbar. 4. Delete key should be used for Cancel in Download node. | ||||

2c) I'd suggest that for any individual subscription 'Update' podcast would be useful It would probably also be useful to add on the right side of the tree, an Update All button next to the Podcast node. |

2a) Fixed 2b) Fixed 2d) Download command is shown on Podcasts context/toolbar that are downloading in the Podcast collection. Instead of the Download command the Pause/Resume/Cancel commands should be considered like in the Downloads node. 3) If one item is selected menu shows Resume/Cancel/Pause all. Also despite all items downloading Resume All is enabled. I don't mind that the buttons are for all, but they should be enabled according to status of items in Downloads. 4) Fixed 5) Internet connection failure causes downloads to hang forever. Pause/Resume doesn't fix this and instead causes AV (elog send). 6) Internet connection failure also seems to hang the Podcast Updating as it's been stuck for a while no in the statusbar. 7) Canceled Podcasts download anyway on restart. |

2d) I think that the Pause/Resume commands should not be available in subsriptions nodes. The logic is that in the Subscription node should be commands related to the given subscription (Edit Subscription, Unsubscribe, Remove episode, Download episode), whereas in the Downloads node there should be commands related to downloads (Pause, Resume, Cancel). 3) Fixed in build 1356 5) Fixed in build 1356 (same fix as 0007534) 6) Fixed in build 1356 (same fix as 0007534) 7) Removed episode doesn't download on restart, but canceled download of the episode downloads on restart as far as the given episode wasn't removed or subscription rules changed. It is similar logic like for item 2d) if user wants to remove the episode permanently he does so via Subscription node, if he wants just cancel download of a very long episode at the moment he can via Cancel download. |
