Summary0006785: Video: Fullscreen Mouse gestures and keyboard shortcuts not available
DescriptionWhile playing video in fullscreen User would expect most common (based on other players, both online and windows) mouse gestures and Keyboard shortcuts on Full screen Video window work:
01. Video Adjust: Volume Control -> Mouse Wheel (No need for moving Mouse on fullscreen player or on player it should work on Video Window)
02. Video Adjust: Play/Pause -> Left Click (Same as point 1)
03. Video Adjust: Play/Pause -> SPACE
04. Video Adjust: Increase Height -> NUM 8
05. Video Adjust: Decrease Height -> NUM 2
06. Video Adjust: Increase Width -> NUM 6
07. Video Adjust: Decrease Width -> NUM 4
08. Video Adjust: Reset Changes -> NUM 5
09. Video Adjust: Cycle Aspect Ratio -> NUM DEVIDE (Original, 4:3, 16:9, 16:10)
10. Video Adjust: Cycle Subtitles -> NUM MULTIPLY (For Future Use)
11. Video Adjust: Switch Fullscreen -> Mouse Middle Button

Bugs:
1. Play/Pause, Stop should not break Fullscreen if used
2. Album Art/Details window do not change Title to Video:
- Open MM
- Load Single Video file to Now Playing as only file in now playing
- Play the file
- Generate Thumbnail
- Close MM
- Open MM
- Press play on Player

Note: It will correctly change if you double click on file to play it.

Rusty, please review the suggestions, I have tested several video players and it seems that only Video Adjust: Play/Pause -> SPACE is commonly used, but it is not related to fullscreen mode, probably we should change default Playback: Play/Pause hotkey from 'Ctrl+P' to 'Space'? Or add it to the 'Ctrl+P' so that both 'Space' and 'Ctrl+P' would perform the action?

Re. the shortcuts, I think that most are fairly esoteric and not generally required, but I agree on a couple of points:

03. When MM is in Full Window or Full Screen mode, it would make sense for the SPACE bar to play/pause. I'm not sure if it would make sense to have this behavior at other times because the Space Bar is often used in the MM UI.

Related note: VLC's shortcuts for previous/next, +5s/-5s, are much more intuitive than MMs. It would be great if we could also implement those arrow-based shortcuts as well, but we have the same problem as with the spacebar (aside from Full Window/Full Screen modes).

09. Aspect ratio: would be better to have a single key to cycle (vs 4 separate keys). e.g. ctrl-alt-r

11. There's definitely a need for a keyboard shortcut to cycle between the various video playback modes. I would suggest that CTRL-ALT-A (which current toggles the Album Art window), should be used to cycle through the various playback modes, if a video is playing (e.g. A&D window, Main Player, Full-Screen, Hidden).

Re. the bugs that are described, they belong in separate reports, but in the interest of closing them:
1. Play/Pause doesn't switch out of full-screen (as expected). Stop should switch out of full-screen (as expected).

2. The title should always remain as 'Art and Details' (we'd decided elsewhere that it's too strange to switch the Titlebar back and forth).

Looks good,
Re: 03 - there is no problem about the single key hotkeys, it has been already resolved (issue 0004065)

Either I'm not testing it correctly or it is not fixed.

09. CTRL+ALT+R and NUM /
11. CTRL+ALT+A

It is fixed, but they are added as default hotkeys on fresh install.
Registry key HKCU/Software/MediaMonkey/Hotkeys needs to be deleted

Fixed in build 1347.

In build 1347 the new hotkeys are added without a need to delete the registry key or a clean install.
