| Description | It has been requested numerous times in Forum over the years to make MM library contain ability to collect/bookmark Radio stations and stream URLs for later playback within input plugin which will act as parser to actual plugin. It could nice to add special file type in library "URL" that can be filtered and listed under library. That way MM can be used to stream online radio stations using upnp and dlna Example: 1. File -> Open 2. paste http://shoutcast.omroep.nl:8194/listen.pls 3. Press play and first text that is shown in Title is "Initial Radio Station info" as explained in 1a of 0005701 4. as soon as stream is buffered Title show Actual playing track | ||||
| Additional Information | Difference from this input plugin is that it will handle all URL Type Media formats/protocols (http://, mms://, ...) and will fill/get info from stream accordingly to its format. | ||||
