| Description | Two issues related to Aero Flip (windows key + tab) -- the posh version of alt+tab), one a bug, the other a niggle: Bug: When mediamonkey is first opened it doesn't appear in the flip sequence, but only appears once MM plays a track. Niggle: In aero flip the album art is used, but this image is generally tiny compared to every other window in the cycle. The actual Window should be shown instead. | ||||

Rusty, this could be a problem. Windows 7 have introduced with custom thumbnail as an Application representation (we're using cover of the currently playing track), but problem is that same thumbnail will be shown in Flip (Alt+Tab) and Flip3D (Win+Tab). It's managed by system .. windows will ask application for a thumbnail but will not give any information where this thumbnail will be used (AeroPeek, Flip, Flip3D ?). Now i know why WMP doesn't use custom thumbnail :-(. |

Verified 1284. Note: Aeroflip is still small when a track is playing, however, there's no way around that due to Windows Vista/7 limitations. |

This feature-fix was reverted due to regressions/risk. i.e. Aeroflip doesn't work at startup and when MM is minimized. |

@Petr I've done some tests and as we already have have hook for keyboard is it possible to make workaround using keyboard hook and send thumbnail according to our needs? |

Reminder sent to: Ludek @Ludek As you have done keyboard hook I think that we would need to make Global Hook for WIN+SHIFT+TAB and WIN+TAB only as I think that it is better to show Album Art in Case ALT+TAB NOTE To Petr: If Possible WIN+<any key>+TAB -> Thumbnail Request should send correct thumbnail. |
