| Description | The ALT key works as follows in build 1251 1) --> focus on main menu bar 2) --> focus off main menu bar 3) --> focus on NP menu bar 4) --> focus off NP menu bar In cases where the user has pressed the ALT key twice and then used some other MM functions (e.g. played a track), pressing the ALT key triggers step 3) rather than Step 1) as the user would have expected. Possible fixes: a) reset to 1) as soon as anything is done in the MM UI b) highlight both the Main Menu and NP Menu at the same time (but this might cause problems of its own e.g. if NP is undecked). | ||||

We can implement a), but I think that originally there wasn't the step 2., i.e. the focus went immediately from the main menu to NP menu, which seems to make most sense. |

Yes--I agree step 2 is unneeded. |

Yes, reverted to the original workflow (i.e. without step 2). This is also better for consistency, both Alt+D and Alt+E takes effect now despite the fact which menu bar is focused. Fixed in build 1252. |

Tested 1252, and it's mostly good except that the order is incorrect. i.e. currently: 1) Alt --> NP Menu bar highlighted 2) Alt again --> Main menu bar highlighted The order should be reversed. |

Note that the "The ALT key works as follows in build 1251" behaviour is exhibited only if Now Playing is docked (and of course requires "Show Now Playing Controls" (sic) ticked.) |
