| Description | It seems that when a user account is created _after_ MM has been installed, MM is 'run as..' a user (i.e. login as regular user, right-click on MM and 'Run as..' --> strange problems (configuration issues?) can arise: chrisjj reported that MM fails to run correctly: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=39868 , though I could not reproduce. I observed that MM would generate the following error each time it's run: Error happened during script execution: Couldn't start Windows Scripting Control (msscript.ocx). You can install it from .... Closing this issue because: a) the problem occurs even for accounts that were created prior to installation of MM b) the script control problem is a windows issue--it seems that the scripting host is not always available for all users (perhaps related to whether the scripting host was installed before or after the user was created??). |
