Rusty, I cannot reproduce, ESCAPE cancels most of the dialogs.
The only two dialogs that ESCAPE doesn't cancel are:
Tolls->Burn CD/DVD...
Configure Device

Please go to options and make sure you haven't ESCAPE assigned as a hotkey, in this case it would be another issue related to 0004065

Ludek, you're right--I was testing for 4065 and forgot about the fact that I'd set ESC as a hotkey.

So there are only 2 dialogs to fix ;-)

Reopening, ESC is by default assigned to "General: Clear search box and refresh"

And that is conflicting with Dialog Modal Hotkey assignment as Cancel.

ESC Do not Cancel Dialogs Created By Scripts http://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/index.php/ISDBUIForm::BorderStyle (3 (bsDialog) - a dialog that isn't resizable)

For Example "Submission rules" Dialog from Last.fm plugin v1.0.2.19 can be used for testing (Tools->Options->Library->Last.fm Service->Submission Rules Button)

Peke, did you assign the Cancel-property to the form's Cancel button?

Peke, it is not true. Esc isn't by default assigned to any hotkey.

Esc cancels all MM dialogs after clean install so I think that this issue can be closed.

I don't see any "Submission Rules Button" in Tools->Options->Library->Last.fm Service, but if you are sure that the problem is there and that it isn't because of the cancel property as Bex mentioned then open separate issue for this so that this one is properly tracked in 3.1 changelog.
