| Description | Using Search Bar in Search Selected mode, in conjunction with the Track Browser triggers several major problems: 1) It causes the Track browser to be filled with duplicate / triplicate and more entries. Duplicate entries occur for whichever tracks match the search selected filter. e.g. if Search Selected for 'Love' yields 100 tracks comprising 31 genres, then 31 genres will be duplicated in the Track Browser's Genre column. To replicate: -Activate the Track Browser -Use the search bar to search the entire library e.g. for Beatles -->Tracklist is filled -Search selected for e.g. 'Love' using the Search bar -->The Track Browser gets filled with duplicate entries -Change 'Love' to '' in the Search bar -->More duplicates get added -Change '' to 'Help' in the Search bar -->More duplicates get added etc. 2) The Track Browser's filters sometimes become restricted, is if 'Search Entire Library' has become active. This is better explained by example: -Activate the Track Browser and select any top level tree node -Search selected for e.g. 'Love' using the Search bar -->The Track Browser gets updated (some duplicates appear as described in 1) -Switch filters in the Track Browser's Genre column to a Genre that does _not_ match any tracks containing 'Love' (i.e. a Genre that doesn't appear in duplicate) -->The Genres (along with other filters in other columns) listed in the Track Browser change! They change to show only 41 Genres, which is exactly the number of Genres that appear if 'Search Entire Library'=Love. Note: 'Search Entire Library' _is_ supposed to restrict the filters that appear in the Track Browser. 'Search Current Selection' is not supposed to restrict the Track Browser filters--it's supposed to just limit the results. | ||||
