DAO burning works fine for me.

Watching http://users.pandora.be/erik.deppe/troubleshooting_errorcodes.htm it means:
Sense code 03 (Medium Error) : 30C07 WRITE ERROR - RECOVERY NEEDED
So can you confirm that it is related to the particular medium?

Maybe we should add the list from http://users.pandora.be/erik.deppe/troubleshooting_errorcodes.htm directly to MM so that the error reporting would be better, e.g.
'Disc 1 (copy 1) burn failed: 30C07 WRITE ERROR - RECOVERY NEEDED (Medium Error)'
insead of just
'Disc 1 (copy 1) burn failed: Error code: 30C07'
If you agreee then open a new bug for this and assign to me.

I tested 3 different brands of Media with 3.1 and all generate the error message.
I then tested 2 of the brands on MM 3.0.6 and both worked.

note: even though 3.1 generates the error message the CDs appear to work.

Perhaps build the primor sample app for me and I can test that out to see if it generates the same message, in which case we could be certain that it's an SKD problem.

I found that Primo removed (from sample apps) the sample app using the methods we are using to burn audio CDs. So the best seems to be to email them C:\hpCDE.log and description of the problem.

Btw.
What do you think about the case whether we should add the list from http://users.pandora.be/erik.deppe/troubleshooting_errorcodes.htm [^] directly to MM so that the error reporting would be better shown, e.g.
'Disc 1 (copy 1) burn failed: 30C07 WRITE ERROR - RECOVERY NEEDED (Medium Error)'
insead of just
'Disc 1 (copy 1) burn failed: Error code: 30C07'
If you agree then open a new bug for this and assign to me. Thx.

Rusty, I made the one potentially breaking change (as Primo indicated) also to our code.
New hpCDBurn.dll is attached on our FTP: MMBugs/bug4931/hpCDBurn.dll
Please check it out - copy this hpCDBurn.dll to the 3.0.1.1193 build directory.

Fix sent offline (possibly related to the following message from Primo "There was one potentially breaking change to ICDTrack interface. Previously the end of each track had to be the start of the next track. From 2.5 the end of each track is the start of next track - 1 frame.") solved the problem.

Assigning to Ludek for inclusion.

Re-opened, two users reported that this error is re-occuring with MediaMonkey 4.

See http://www.mediamonkey.com/support/staff/index.php?_m=tickets&_a=viewticket&ticketid=14863

Although the CD is burnt correctly, the error appears after the burn has completed. The error does not appear with MediaMonkey 3.2

This change in PrimoBurner libs is most probably root of this problem: http://blog.primosoftware.com/post/How-to-create-a-hidden-track-at-the-beginning-of-audio-CD-part-2.aspx
