| Description | Over time, there have been numerous reports in the forum about Auto-tag from Amazon only working on the first track. I finally accidentally stumbled onto the problem: when in Album Art + Details view (I didn't test Album Art view), if the user selects all tracks (e.g. by clicking the album image), only the first track is properly updated, even though the status bar shows multiple tagging operations occuring: -Autotag Album Art from Amazon (save to tag) -Properties > Album Art > Apply album Art to all selected tracks (add or remove) Note: when doing an add/remove operation via the Album Art window, it usually seems to work correctly when applying to all tracks on an album (though it didn't on one occasion). | ||||

Tested 1119 and both Auto-tagging of Album Art to a full album and applying/removing art to a full album only work on a subset of the Albums tracks when in Album Art + Details mode. Note: selection is being done by clicking any part of an album that causes all the tracks to become selected. |

Per IM: The issue is that I am selecting all the tracks in an album by Clicking the album--NOT by Shift-Clicking the tracks in the album. If you click the Area where the Album Art symbol is, it causes all the tracks in the album to become selected. However, my guess is that even though they _appear_ to be selected, they're not fully selected, and consequently, tagging operations don't work correctly. If I instead Shift-CLick the tracks in an album to select them all, the tagging operations work correctly. There's another issue that might be caused by the same problem: when I select tracks in an Album in the AA+Details view and press <Enter>, the tracks don't start to play--even though they appear to be selected! (or perhaps this is another bug). |
