Summary0003803: Level Track Volume: Some tracks aren't leveled, and playback gets broken
DescriptionA user sent a set of tracks that causes the following:

1) Attempt to 'Level Track Volume'
---> MM appears to level track volume, however, the leveling co-efficients do not change

2) Attempt to play the 'leveled' Tracks
---> Track #2 gets greyed out
---> Attempts to play this track sometimes causes MM to freeze completely

3) Reboot MediaMonkey
---> Track #2 can be played normally

So, it seems that somehow, 'Level Track Volume' messes with the audio stack.
Additional InformationPosting the tracks to the ftp server

Opening this because I can reproduce the issue consistently with this set of tracks; hoping you can as well.

1) The tracks I downloaded from FTP already have leveling calculated and recalculation also seems to work well (although it doesn't change the already calculated values).

2) This doesn't happen to me. In case MM freezes, EL would be useful (in case it isn't generated, try to generate it using the keyboard shortcut).

Jiri, at Step 1) did you try to 'Level Track Volume'? From what you wrote, it sounds as if you attempted to 'Analyze Volume' rather than 'Level Track Volume'.

Fixed in build 1092.

There were actually two problems:
1. If any error occured, AV was generated, hidden from the user, but could cause further trouble later.
2. Mp3gain.dll wasn't able to analyze any corrupted tracks. It's fixed now and so all the tracks uploaded to FTP can be analyzed.
