| Summary | 0003391: Multiple definition fields: Synchronization works incorrectly | ||||
| Description | When the user tries to Sync any tracks that have multiple Multiple Artists / Genres / Composers / Conductors, the multiple Genre fields ends up being treated as a single Genre. The effect is that when the user tries to play 'Rock' tracks on their device, they end up playing a subset of their Rock tracks. This can be annoying. A simple solution would be to only send the first Genre when synching multiple-Genre tracks. This could be done via an option such as: [x] Sync only first value of multiple attribute fields | ||||

Per discussion we agreed that users may want to use this only for Genres: [x] Use only the first Genre when multiple Genres exist [ ] Use only the first value when multiple Artists / Composers exist |

Fixed in build 1061. - Should work well with misc types of devices fine (tested with iPod and a WMDM device). |
