| Summary | 0002760: MM adds duplicate track entries when a drive is connected via IDE and USB | ||||
| Description | Note from Jiri about the cause of this issue: The problem is that the user has two 'WDC COMBO' drives in database, even though the have the same serial number, they are of a different type (one HD and the other Removable), which probably happened because the HD was sometimes connected over USB and other time over IDE. As a solution it should help to remove the unused drive under Location node, some duplicates will probably remain and would have to be removed, but new shouldn't appear then. As a fix in MM, I don't plan to do anything in MM 2.5.5, but for MM 3.0 I'll remove that dependency on drive type, i.e. only serial number will be checked. | ||||
