Summary | 0002482: Browsing iPod in MediaMonkey --> Smart Playlists become Playlists
Description | If the user synchs a Smart Playlist to the iPod it works exactly as an autoplaylist should, updating itself based on the rules within. If the user then connects the iPod to MM and browses the device with MM, the Smart Playlist becomes converted to a regular playlist as evidenced by: 1) The tracks stop updating 2) When the device is connected to iTunes, the Smart Playlist appears as a regular playlist

Note: Just browsing the iPod doesn't trigger the bug. It seems to occur only when: -User listens to tracks on the iPod -User listens to tracks on MM As described by Jiri, such actions cause a DB update which could be the root of the problem. |

Fixed in build 963. - Smartlists in iPods are preserved. |
