| Description | I've been able to reproduce the problem that I'd reported to you about a week ago in which MM freezes in the middle of an Auto-Organize operation. I've captured a debug log, however, unfortunately, it appears to be useless. i.e. it just shows the operations proceeding normally and then stopping all of a sudden. To reproduce the bug I performed the following set of operations repeatedly on the set of 200 files: -mass tag operation to clear Artist/Album etc. metadata -auto-organize to <Custom 1> -auto-tag to <Artist> - <Filename> -analyze volume After doing this for several minutes, the bug eventually occurred. Saving debug log to the ftp server. | ||||

I can't read the log, the file is corrupted/isn't RAR archive? Btw, I'm not sure if users are really experiencing problems like this or others mentined in the forum thread, Rowingcowboy posts his problems under several names (I checked IPs of posts there and in other threads) and so it seems he's the only one having weird problems. |

Fixed in build 946. - I think it actually _was_ caused by a background operation (not sure which one though). I was able to reproduce this by using Synchronize tags command on a set of files and attempting to Auto-Organize them at the same moment. |

Tested and 946, and found that I'm able to consistently reproduce the bug using either of the following sets of steps: 1)a) Select 200 tracks b) Clean ID3v1 and v2 tags c) While b is in progress, auto-organize the tracks -->Auto-organize freezes 2)a) Select 200 tracks b) Clean the tags c) Auto-tag from filename d) while c is in progress Auto-tag from filename -->Auto-organize freezes Because it is _consistently_reproducible_ reproducible with these steps (whereas it isn't when simply Tagging/Auto-organizing tracks at the same time), I wonder wonder whether it is related to creation/removal of a tag rather than simply filling in an existing tag. |

Fixed in build 947. - I wasn't able to reproduce it, but I made a couple of improvements in code and added some debug messages. In case it doesn't work, please send me a debug log. However, I wouldn't defer RC release because of that. |
