Summary0002263: H-10 Synchronization (MTP) takes forever
DescriptionAlthough first-time MTP synchronization with the H10 works fine, subsequent synchronization attempts seem to take 'forever'. The delays occur:
a) at the beginning when the track list is being prepared
b) at the end, after all tracks have been copied, there's an indefinite delay (it appears that Synchronization has frozen).

I've posted a log that illustrates this. Note that in during this synchronization attempt: 3 tracks by a-ha were removed, 2 tracks by Aimee Mann and Michael Penn were added. There were 0000189:0000500 tracks on the device.

Note: I also tested WMP and the Synchronization was < 30 seconds for 3 tracks by A-ha.

This is due to auto-synchronization, if you synchronize only selected tracks it would take the same time as in WMP.

The problems are:
 - In the beginning the device is scanned for all files, it takes some time.
 - In the end, playlists are updated on the device (this seems to be particularly poorly implemented by the driver for H10, this is what takes so much time).

I don't see what can we do about it for now. We can only document it in FAQ, mention that less and smaller playlists mean faster synchronization. In the future some speed ups could be made, but in general this isn't MMs issue.
