| Summary | 0022223: Playlist export and encoding format | ||||
| Description | In MediaMonkey currently there is no way to choose playlist exporting format. Some devices only support ASCII (some even do not recognize unicode filenames), some assume UTF-8 and some use UTF-16 and MM always write files with BOM character. There should be a way to select that in Device profiles and in playlist export. Options that should cover most cases are: [ASCII, UTF8 no BOM, UTF8 with BOM, UTF16] NOTE: We should also consider adding "[ ] Force ASCII filenames" which would apple "$ASCII(<Destination Mask>)" and on fly convert filenames to ASCII according to [File Mapping] from INI file. | ||||
