| Summary | 0021920: Auto-tag: metadata edits aren't committed (regression) | ||||
| Description | In MM 2024.2.0, if the user does a metadata lookup and then attempts to edit the metadata by selecting a different entry from the combobox, the new entry isn't accepted (the combo-box remains in focus). Furthermore, clicking outside of the combobox doesn't cause the change to be committed--the only way to commit the change is to click other metadata on the track. This is a regression in 2024.2. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | 1 Select a track 2 Right-click > Auto-tag 3 After lookup completes, click on the 'Album' value and select a different one --> The change isn't committed / the associated year metadata fails to update 4 Click elsewhere to get the change to commit --> Nothing happens! The only way to get the change to commit is by clicking directly on the another field within the track control. | ||||
