| Description | For languages that are right-to-left (e.g. Hebrew/Arabic), when a string includes a mix of right-to-left and left-to-right text, the string renders incorrectly in MM (e.g. if it includes 'MediaMonkey'). See the image below. Weblate renders the string correctly. | ||||

It seems the problem is in Weblate - in export to PO file - it changes order of phrases in such cases. |

Jiri, please try to upgrade our Weblate to the newest version. There were a lot of fixes and changes during last months, we have already quite old version. In case the problem will still be there, then we should insert issue to Weblate issue tracker, as the export to PO file is wrong in such case with mixed text, it changes order of phrases when text contains RTL and LTR parts. |

The problem was not resolved by Weblate update. Jiri, please report it to Weblate issue tracker (I guess it is better to report by someone who installed/bought it). You can use this screenshot - combination of LTR and RTL texts is different on webpage and in exported files (I checked it and it is not format dependent, the same problem occurs for all export formats). image-2.png (41,633 bytes) |

I have found out, that problem is not in Weblate, but in the fact, that our application has all texts rendered as LTR. And in this situation mixed texts have different order of LTR/RTL text parts. This can be addressed, but I cannot do it for all text across whole application, because it would make a lot of other strings formatted wrongly. I will prepare solution, but then I will need that someone who can read Hebrew would go through whole application and identify such problematic places, then I can fix them one by one. Btw. in case I understand it correctly, we should also switch all menus and many places across application, as in RTL languages it is all right aligned. It would mean very complex reworking of whole UI I am afraid for RTL languages. E.g. all places, where we have "Title: <control>" should be "<control>:title" in RTL. So really very very complex issue. |

Fixed standard message boxes in build 3402. Prepared CSS class "langdir", we can assign this class to all elements, where there is problem with RTL texts and they should be right aligned in similar way. As I wrote above, this will not solve more complex issue, where whole GUI should be designed for RTL languages differently, as it means often completely reworked design. Anyway, please go through whole app and in case there are some other places, where this simple fix should be used, let me know. |
