Summary | 0021628: Playlist in Grid (by Album) shows full Albums instead of actual files on Playlist
Description | When using the Grid (by Album) View in a Playlist the Playlist shows all files on the Album when expanding the Album, instead of the actual files on the Playlist. We should either: A) Fix this View so only files on Playlist are shown B) Remove the Grid (by Album) View
Steps To Reproduce | 1) Add one file to a Playlist 2) Go to Playlist 3) Set View to Grid (by Album) 4) Expand the Album --> All files on the Album showing, which is confusing

I see that this is long-standing issue that exists in 5.0.4 too... As for removing "Grid (by Album)" from playlists, we certainly could, but I remember that some users wanted this kind of view especially because of auto-playlists.. I doubt that many users are using this view for playlists as it doesn't preserve the playlist order.. As for showing just limited set of files on the album, this would be probably the right solution, but just show the limited set in the album popup (the same view) keeping the playlist context |
