Summary0020565: Issue with duplicate drives after migration to the new PC
DescriptionAfter analyzing DB from [Ticket # 6727] the database could get to the state when there are two duplicates drives with the same Serial Number in the Medias table.

The can happen e.g. by migration to new PC when the second drive was actually mapped drive to a folder on the first drive..
Then once user re-assign the same letter to both drives he has two drives with same drive letter and serial number...

To get from this state he can remove the first drive, but because just the files are removed from the database, but not the entry in Medias table then:
1) Scanning the drive creates the duplicate drive again (as the dup entry in the Medias table still exists)
2) Adding rule like: Path contains "D:\Music\" can result in no files as it can take the other (duplicate) entry from the Medias table

SOLUTION: Once all files from the drive are removed then also the entry in the Medias table should be removed!
