Summary0002028: Auto-DJ toggle button
DescriptionThis is a really good suggestion brought up by a user--there should be a means of easily enabling/disabling autodj.

Probably the best place for this is on the Now Playing menu bar.

I'm not sure if it's that much important, but possibly is. Assigning to Rusty to spec where and what exactly to add.

I think that there are 2 possible locations for this:
1) Now Playing Menu bar i.e. List | Options | [x] Auto-DJ
2) On the player itself (skinnable)
3) Via the main menu bar i.e. Player | [x] Auto-DJ

I prefer the third option right now, because it best fits with how MM is currently arranged. i.e. Player | Shuffle and Player | Continuous both are available via the Player menu. HOWEVER, I don't like this because it's really a control for 'Now Playing' which is making me think twice.

i.e. once we add the skinnable player, it may make sense to have some of the controls that have traditionally been on the player, moved over to the NP dialog. e.g. a dialog that contains only icons (instead of text):

'Open button' 'Save button' 'Edit button' | 'Auto-DJ toggle' 'Shuffle toggle' 'Continuous toggle' | 'Burn button' 'Synch button' | 'Classification buttons' (optional)

The only downside is that text takes up less space than the text menus. I would appreciate your comments...

I prefer 1) because it seems to be most logical there. We might reconsider this when the skinnable player is implemented, but I think I'd like 1) even then.

I like 3) Via the main menu bar i.e. Play | [x] Auto-DJ

In this case would be nice on the [x] Auto-DJ switching on have both []repeat and []shuffle automatically unchecked (disabled) so that the Auto-DJ could work and user will not be confused why it doesn't work if for example repeat is still switched on.

What do you think about my suggestion?

Your suggestion sounds fine, though as indicated in my comment in 0002018, I think that only Repeat and Auto-DJ are mutually exclusive.

Auto-DJ button implemented in build 913 via Menu Bar -> Play -> [x]Auto-DJ.
Action's exclusivity implemented.
It is mutually exclusive with both (repeat+shuffle) for now.

Once 0002018 will be resolved it could be modified.
