Summary0020106: WMA Codec encoding do not work anymore for some files
DescriptionWMA Codec encoding do not work in MM5

User sent us sample files at https://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=510900#p510900 where original file is detected as 44.1/16Bit Stereo CBR 320 and new copy was 112 CBR Stereo (non selectable option)

Try to Convert original File on Win 10 22H2 (Full updates) results are:
- MM4 fail to convert and play file correctly unless conversion is set to VBR 90%+ and 48khz
- MM5 (2338-2807 all stable and latest beta) fail to convert and play file correctly (File always ends being 440Kb)

NOTE: In MM4 Setting VBR 90%+ and 48khz ends file format in 192kbps 48/24Bit

TEST NOTE: Decoding/Converting of WMA files is not affected only Encoding is buggy ATM across all Available Windows MM versions and appears Windows 10 22H2 (mine) and Windows 11 (Users)

Fixed in build 2808. Problem happened after pressing "Cancel" in "WMA settings" dialog, after this action wrong encoder configuration data were saved, that caused problem later during encoding. To fix this user also needs to save encoder data again (i.e. open encoder options, select correct setting and press OK).

Fixed in 2808. User need to set WMA settings at first, then it should work as expected.

We found out, that the problem is related to Windows region setting "Beta: Use Unicode UTF-8 for worldwide language support". If this checkbox is checked, binary data of encoder plugin settings are sometimes not saved and read correctly.
