Re-opened: I've found that in some environmatns the devices are announced avery 20 seconds via mDNS (e.g. [Ticket # 5416] ) So our workflow of starting the search upon clicking the cast icon and waiting for 4 seconds does not work until user has a lucky to hit the 20 seconds interval. Mostly user need to click the cast icon repeatedly to get the devices. We should probably change the workflow to run the mDNS searched on background and pick up the device list periodically for the list to be ready once the cast icon is pressed. |
