Summary0019495: Lyrics lookup button available in Properties, non-functional on multi-selection
DescriptionThe Lyrics lookup button is available on the Lyrics tab in the Properties window when multiple files are selected. The button is non-functional as it does not do a lookup.

The button should either:
1 Be greyed out with a tooltip indicating it's unavailable on a multi-select (however it would be useful if Artist and Title match on multi-select that it still works).
2 Hide the button during a multi-select (this does not provide feedback to user why it's missing).
3 Have the button do the lookup per file in multi-selection. However the selection could be 1000's of files and it wouldn't be able to be shown in the Lyrics field.

1 or 2 is simplest and makes the most sense, I think. Note: I don't think that a tooltip is required.

Fixed in build 2823. Used 2), as we usually hide non-relevant buttons and fields in multi-selection.

Verified on 2823, Lyrics lookup button is disabled on multi-select.

However shouldn't it remain enabled on a multi-select where all files in selection have matching Artist and Title? Thus allowing to batch tag multi copies of the same file.

Not sure if this is really needed, how often will somebody multi-tag the same songs...

I think that the current fix is sufficient and preferable since if lookup was enabled when multiple tracks are selected the expectation of what MM would do would vary from user to user.
