| Description | User sent us MP4/QT files, where several subsequent tagging in MM5 causes, that tags are lost (or not displayed in MM5) and it seems, like file cannot be tagged again in MM5. Source of the files: ttps://www.truthforlife.org/resources/?type=sermon | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | 1) download MP4/QT file from the site 2) open it in MM5 under folders, open properties, write e.g. "Test" to comment, save. 3) open properties again, fill director and save -> it seems this order of tagging already causes corruption in metadata section of the file, which some time later manifests as inability to save and read tags. | ||||

Fixed in build 2600. It was related to tagging of QuickTime files only (MP4 with ftyp "qt "). |

Verified 2600 verified by multiple tagging iterations, while tagging files with other apps in order to see if no corruptions happen on future reading/tagging. Test note: Use provided file and at least 1 iterations of tagging with 2600 and other apps that can tag MP4 every other MM tag update. |
