| Description | MM5 is generating some complaints and disappointment re the lack of Reporting facilities or add-ons. Export to CSV could go in some part to address this a workaround, but the CSV output is very deficient. Not enough database fields are exported, especially: 1) AlbumArtist tag ... required so that the user can disambiguate album to make an Album level report 2) Composer tag 3) at least some Custom columns 4) play count and date last played 5) maybe the Conductor column also | ||||

Perhaps the simplest approach would be to give the user a list of available fields to include in the Report. Would this be that difficult? If not, why not just include all available fields (at least in the CSV/XML reports)--the user can then edit the output in a spreadsheet. |

Any improvement would be a plus, but it would be a pity if the HTML option did not benefit also. |

I think I will be able to implement user defined list of track fields and their order, used for all 3 formats. |

Verified 2519 For me this works looks ok now. Test note: - Tested default sorts, editing sorts and adding new one. - Tested Default Columns, changed orders of columns and adding additional columns - Tested both CSV and HTML export and formatting, along with CSV import in Spreadsheet apps. |
