| Description | We should consider adding some tooltips on menu options. 1. For example File -> Reports grays File Listing exports if no tracks or grid icons are not selected, there is no tooltip why it is grayed and when/how this is used. eg. in this example it should be "This option exports selection from track browser or now playing" | ||||

As discussed in 0017050, menu tooltips were removed from 5.0 for technical reasons. Based on Peke's feedback, it could be useful to bring (at least some of) them back. Is this feasible? |

It still stands that it is technically problematic to implement for MM5 -- it would require to create a new window for each tooltip (as in MM5 the tooltips are inside the current window and the menu items are in another window so that it can be shown outside of main window). |
