| Description | When the user attempts to switch languages there are a couple of usability issues: 1) There is no feedback as to whether the language installation succeeded or failed. Shouldn't MM use the same workflow as with other addons? (an example of this issue is in relation to 0017116 -- the language fails to download/install but there's no indication of this to the user) 2) There is an indication in the options dialog that changing a language "(requires restart)", but shouldn't MM take care of this automatically in the same manner as is done with addons? (note: once resolved the "(requires restart)" in this dialog can be removed). | ||||

re 1) i've just tried 2276 install in Czech language and at the end (where it tries to download czech language pack) and i'm getting error dialog about language pack download failed ... if no error dialog appear, installation was succesfull. re 2) done |

1) Petr, I'm seeing an error when a language is chosen via the installer. BUT, when the language is choose via Tools > Options > General , there are no error messages at all?! |
