afaik, the above would require new strings. So if we want to make the change for 5.0, I'd go with: Codecs (Input plug-ins) Audio (Output plug-ins) DSP plug-ins I also prefer the version I've written in terms of clarity, but not a huge difference either way... (note: re. DSP plug-ins, we could also use 'Audio (DSP plug-ins)' but I wasn't sure if that's better since it may take the focus away from 'Audio (Output plug-ins)' for users who want to configure Audio settings). |

If the 5.0 strings for translators are already closed (not sure what's the current progress of #16564 ? ) then the only change that we can do is: 'Output plug-ins' --> 'Audio (Output plug-ins)' (which I changed in 2273) because 'Codecs' is a new string (only 'Codec' exists) |

As the strings for localization aren't closed yet (we found some untranslated strings with Michal that are about to be incorporated to WebLate) then I proceeded with the original suggestion: Input plug-ins -> Codecs / Input (plug-ins) Output plug-ins -> Audio Output (plug-ins) DSP plug-ins -> Audio DSP (plug-ins) => Added in 2273 BTW: I removed the headings from the right hand panels (like 'DSP Modules' heading, 'Ouput plug-ins' heading) -- as they are just redundant to the panel names on the left. |
