Summary0016238: Hotkeys: Using ALT+SHIFT+<NAVIGATIONAL KEYS> to move Selection UP/Down the List
DescriptionCurrently they are not assigned to any Normal function we could be adding using ALT+<NAVIGATIONAL KEYS*> to move Selection UP/Down the List as it will make managing Large Playlists of re positioning tracks in No Playing much easier.

* Navigational key are: Arrow Up/Down, Home/End, Page UP/Down

Note: tested in Libre Office and few other Spreadsheet apps and those Hotkeys are not assigned, actually I have not found the way To move selection Up/Down.

Except Definition of hotkeys in MS Office https://support.office.com/en-us/article/keyboard-shortcuts-in-onenote-for-windows-44b8b3f4-c274-4bcc-a089-e80fdcc87950?ui=en-US&rs=en-US&ad=US
Only App that I have found it uses such approach is Email Client The Bat! where Shift+CTRL+<Arrow Keys> are used to organize Sub folders in tree and prioritize Mail filters Which is very very useful and quick.

ALT+Shift+<Arrow Keys> as hotkeys are not used in Windows for system hotkeys so they should be free for allocation.

Test note: Use playlist of 500+ Tracks and Try to move 10 from middle to start of playlist

Not sure from the description what's really needed here, I guess that you suggest to add new actions to be assignable to hotkeys?

Yes, I suggested that MS Excel like actions on Selections work in MM5 by using these hotkeys.

Might be useful, something to consider for MM 5.1.
