| Description | Using Clear list and play subsequent tracks on whole library (user had 160k tracks) stalls/freeze MMW for two minutes before it starts playback. This was requested in past. This should be Multi threaded where clear and track playback should be started in one thread and add subsequent tracks in different one with very low priority. | ||||

I tried on database with 170K of tracks (Music node with 170K tracklist) and I cannot replicate. I guess it could be related to a playback failure or tag reading failure of particular file. I see that it was a user from your remote session. Do you have a debug log, exact steps to repro, potentially the file on which playback was tested? |

I created logs on my PC and I have high end PC and MMW library is on SSD Steps should be very simple: 1. Start MMW 2. Go to Music Location and double click to Add all tracks to Now playing 3. Scroll down a bit and repeat double click to clear list and add all tracks to now playing 4. at that time Playback start should be delayed. 5. Restart MMW 6. As soon as you get UI and it gets filled up double click on any track to clear and play all tracks 7. Sound should be choppy 8. Now select all tracks in Now playing and remove using DEL key 9. MMW should lock out 10. if not double click on track view to clear and play all tracks |

OK, I can confirm that in step 8 using Ctrl+A and subsequent DEL key on 170K tracks in Now Playing causes UI to lock for 30 seconds. Previously I was using Edit > Clear command (from Now Playing menu) that doesn't observe this behaviour. What is worse (based on my testing) that in step 5) MMW cannot be closed. Close button doesn't seem to work and status bar indicates "Now playing: Reading tracks..." EDIT: This close issue was caused by a recent change re 0013261 and doesn't appear in 1806 and lower. Fixed. |

The UI freeze when using Ctrl+A and DEL key on now playing tracks is fixed in 1807. |

Re-opened, it seems that constant repeating of step 3 can also cause issues/crash. |
