| Summary | 0012470: Lost 'paid status' of MM Codec Pack (regression?) | ||||
| Description | There have been a few complaints recently of users upgrading and losing the paid status of their codec pack (e.g. 5 this past weekend). While this can occur if users are upgrading from a combination of versions of MediaMonkey prior to 4.1.0.1683 + the codec pack prior to 2.1.1, it should not be occuring since then. Can you please investigate how to trigger this apparent regression? | ||||

I extensively tested and only thing I can confirm is that only trigger I've found is older versions allow install of trial over paid version. MMW v4.0.7 and codec pack <2.1.1 There is one exception where user installed Paid Codec pack as User and than in admin account install trial as global version. I'm not sure that we can do much. |

OK, so it sounds as if the fix is correct. Whenever this occurs, I'll try to get more info from the user. |
