I was able to replicate it in one case:
1)play track A
2)Track B starts play after track A is completed(Equalizer sometimes works)
3)Track C starts play after track B is completed(Equalizer doesn't work)

Fixed in build 1.1.0.0363.

3 Users (at the original thread) have indicated that the fix is incomplete (equalizer is active for several tracks and then disables).

One of them posted a debug log: HG5JLBAF8H

According to http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=76077&start=30#p401547 this is still not resolved.

Debug log appears within the link.

I've tested this on three devices:
Samsung tablet / 4.4.2
Nexus 5 / 4.4.2
XPeria Pro / 4.1
Nexus 5 / 5.0.2

I was unable to replicate the problem on any of these devices. But I did notice a bug on the Xperia Pro (only on that device) that may have a similar root cause. If the Equalizer is enabled, then rapidly disabling and re-enabling it sometimes results in the Equalizer displaying Status=enabled, even though the equalizer isn't enabled.

e.g. :
1 Play track
2 Enable equalizer and set so that audio is clearly distinguishable from disabled
3 Rapidly disable/re-enable the equalizer (do this until the bug occurs--usually 3-4 times)
--> Status shows enabled, but equalizer isn't enabled

Note: the remaining user-reported equalizer problem described at 0012462:0041926 is device specific (related to htc devices which don't work at all with the Android equalizer API).

As such the remaining issue is just that described at 0012462:0042010 and it's pretty minor. Based on the logs, is it something that should be fixed?
