Summary0011145: Allow running more sync servers from one MMW instance
DescriptionThis was suggested by Peke here: 0011123:0037116

We had discussed it in a greather details via email thread with Marek, Jiri and Rusty one year ago. The conclusion was to have only one main sync server that cannot be deleted and only this server can be used for WiFi sync. There were several reasons for this:
- there is a single link to the sync server from the device config dialog (next to the '[x] Grant remote access...' checkbox)
- there doesn't seem to be advantages to run more sync servers as everything is configured per device (independent from the server config)

But in Peke's example b) (0011123:0037116) is one private family server and one public server configured to auto allow and restricts content that can be configured on sync-list in MMA (e.g. limited to Music collection only). In this case Peke is right that running more sync servers would be an advantage.

Because there doesn't seem to be a technical or usability problem we could remove the limitation and use all MMW servers as sync servers (so that any MMW server can be selectable as sync server in MMA)

Let me know if you see or remember an usability problem otherwise I would suggest to implement it (the fix is trivial as it is just about marking all servers as sync capable).

EDIT:
I forgot that currently we grant access per device and not per server (as in case of UPnP browsing), i.e. after allowing the device to sync with MMW, it could actually sync with _any_ UPnP server of this MMW instance. So, in order to gain something from this new implementation, we'd have e.g. to add a checkbox allowing/forbidding sync individually for each UPnP server. This however complicated things further and so, after IM discussion we'd rather leave everything as is, i.e. just one UPnP server for sync.
